Leavenworth, Washington
The cutest little Bavarian town outside of Germany can be found right in the middle of Washington. A two-hour drive east from Seattle and you’ve have arrived in Leavenworth, the breathtaking views and stunning architecture will transport you. There are so many fun activities to do including, hiking to Icicle creek, strolling in waterfront park or trying some delicious German food. Mt. Rainier National Park, Washington
Further south from Leavenworth is Mt Rainier the highest Mountain in the Cascades and state symbol that can be seen from Seattle on a clear sunny day. If Mt. Rainier national park is a great place to spend for a day trip, a weekend or more. During the fall and winter months part of the park closes due to safety, but Paradise visitor center is open during the winter to help patrons get information and learn more about the stunning landscape.
